Marine warranty survey exists because underwriters will not accept an uncontrolled risk. Before a towage, load-out, transportation or installation proceeds, an independent surveyor reviews the procedures, calculations and condition of the spread against the warranty conditions of the policy, and issues a certificate of approval confirming the operation may go ahead. The role is deliberately third-party: the surveyor is not the contractor, and the approval is not a formality but a condition of cover.
Field operators layer their own acceptance standards on top of class and statutory requirements, and those standards vary by field and by operator. Our work covers warranty survey and certificate of approval, vessel suitability assessment against field acceptance criteria, and verification that the unit's classification, statutory certification and insurance prerequisites are all current and consistent with the intended scope. Deficiencies are reported plainly, with the corrective action needed to close them, rather than left as an open finding for someone else to interpret.
